Enjoining what is Right

Lest we forget....In the heat of the Civil Rights Movement in this country a Newsweek journalist, Karl Fleming, was told by a white city official in Alabama, 'We killed two-year-old Indian babies to get this country and you want to give it to the niggers.''

"Our nation was born in genocide when it embraced the doctrine that the original American, the Indian, was an inferior race. Even before there were large numbers of Negroes on our shores, the scar of racial hatred had already disfigured colonial society." martin luther king jr.

Allah says:

O ye who believe! Take not into your intimacy those outside your ranks: They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin: Rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths: What their hearts conceal is far worse. We have made plain to you the Signs, if ye have wisdom.Sura Imran 3:118

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it would be best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. They will do you no harm, except a trifling annoyance, if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs and no help shall they get.

Sura al Imran: 3: 110-111
