Shrimp Salad

 Sis. Tunurah Abdul Khabir for:         Tunurah’s Favorite Halal Recipes


3 c. Cleaned and cooked shrimp

½ tsp. cayenne pepper

½ c. Sliced celery

Sprinkle of paprika (optional)

¼ c. Chopped red and green pepper

½ tsp. Salt

¼ c. Chopped pimiento

1 c. Mayonnaise

¼ c. finely chopped onions

Crisp lettuce


Combine shrimp, celery, green pepper and onion in a bowl; let stand in refrigerator. Before serving stir together salt, pepper and mayonnaise, combine with shrimp mixture. Spoon mixture on lettuce. Sparsely sprinkle with paprika.
